I stirred, a low groan escaping my lips as the warmth of the sun caressed my cheek. Disoriented, I opened my eyes, the sudden brightness momentarily blinding me. It took a few seconds for my vision to adjust. Slowly, my eyelids fluttered open, and the world swam into focus. A gasp caught in my throat. I was cradled in a familiar embrace, the warmth of another body radiating through the thin sheet.
